Course overview:
Each session lasts about 60 to 90 minutes and is held once a week. This course uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques to provide practical, evidence-based tools for reducing stress and improving your mood.
Course objectives:
The main aim of this course is to help you stay strong, feel better about yourself, and avoid falling back into old habits. Through Time to Thrive, you will learn new skills and strategies to feel more confident, manage challenges effectively, and continue improving your overall well-being.
What does the course cover?
In Session 1, you will learn about “relapse,” what it means, and how to prevent slipping back into unhelpful patterns. This session focuses on understanding happiness, how it works, and how positive emotions can help you feel better for longer.
Session 2 is all about knowing your strengths and learning to use them. You’ll practice pausing and making good choices in difficult situations, which helps build confidence and flexibility.
Session 3 focuses on building resilience and becoming your own coach through self-compassion. You’ll learn to develop resilience, set meaningful goals, and keep moving forward even when times are tough.
Attending the Time to Thrive course offers many benefits. It helps you build on what you learned in therapy and strengthens your coping skills. You will improve your well-being with practical tools and boost your self-esteem to handle stress more effectively. The course teaches you how to reduce the chance of falling back into old habits and provides strategies to set and achieve personal goals. You’ll also gain valuable skills to stay positive and manage your mental health independently.
What to expect?
The course is friendly and interactive. While you’ll be part of a group, it is not group therapy, so you won’t need to share personal details. Your microphone and camera will stay off for confidentiality, but you are welcome to join the chat if you wish. Each session includes practical strategies and activities that help you continue growing and staying strong after therapy.
